What a Difference Just One Day Can Make...!
Oh what a difference just a day makes! The Word of Christ declares in Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Dr. Seamands tells of a Muslim who became a Christian in Africa. Some of his friends asked him, “Why have you become a Christian?” He answered, “Well, it’s like this. Suppose you were going down the road & suddenly the road forked in 2 directions, and you didn’t know which way to go, and there at the fork in the road were two men, one dead, and one alive – which one would you ask which way to go?
But now Christ is Risen!

What Happens To Those Who Never Hear the Gospel?
David Platt - What Happens to Those Who Never Hear the Gospel - Romans 15:20-24 from Southeastern Seminary on Vimeo.
I heard David Platt at the SBC Convention this year. His message challenges me and so does his recent book entitled "Radical." Consider the truth of what he brings to bear upon our souls from the Word of God.

Why You Should Be Afraid of Sin.....
Tonight in the 10:31 meeting, I'll be preaching on "Why Should Be Afraid of Sin." One of the great Puritan writers wrote about the danger of sin, his name was John Owen. Owen said, "Be killing sin, or it will be killing you." We need to guard our hearts against the sins temptations, by crucifying our flesh anew each day.
As parents we need to be consistently warning our students about the dangers of sin in their lives. We need to be eager to kill sin in our own lives. Sin will take you farther than you are willing to go, keep you longer than you are willing to stay, and cost you more than you are willing to pay.
